Waldorf Kindergarten

A few weeks ago I was asked by Berlin architecture company STATION to photograph a newly opened kindergarten for them. It was a Waldorf oriented Kindergarten, and their philosophy is to use primarily natural products if possible. All the toys and furniture were made out of wood or natural fiber. The colors were muted and subtle to support that idea and not to distract from the activities themselves. The interior is designed to be warm, light and airy, and I can only imagine how nice and safe it would feel for the kids here.
